The Blue Sky Trawler website will be used to document the refit and voyages of a 1998 Seahorse Oceaneer Trawler. We are the 4th owners of this vessel and look forward to sharing our journey.

A Bit About Us

My wife and I purchased Blue Sky in November 2017 in St. Augustine Florida. After working on the boat for a month it was moved to Port Canaveral to start its refit.

What’s New?

Current Work

We are currently finishing the Pilothouse and all of the systems in the boat. We now have DC power turned on to the Foyer DC panel and the pilothouse. We also had a transducer mount added to the bottom of the boat so that we can mount a forward scan sonar transducer. The steering system is also being installed now with the Port rudder being rehung to test fit the new seals and bearings.
