February 2020

We started February down in the Engine Room chipping and sanding all of the old painted and rust. The surfaces were then prepped and painted with two coats of Rust Grip and two coat of bilge paint. Having all of the Engine Room painted and clean really makes the area look much better.

We then started the removal of the port and starboard stateroom walls. This is the last pieces of the original interior so all of the interior has now been removed and all of the steel repainted.

We then laid out the new Master Head walls on the ground. We ended up totally changing from the original design since after laying it out on the ground we could tell that the shower was going to be too small and there were other issues with the toilet, vanity and entry door.  We then built the new walls for the master head, equipment room door and laundry closet.

We finished the month by starting work on the vanity.
