With the start of August we continued with wiring work and created mock-ups of the exhaust risers. We then started work on getting the rudder shaft modified and installed the Steering Sensor and wheel in the Pilothouse.

With the modified rudder shafts we installed the port shaft and had the welders from Standard Marine come out and installed a housing for our Forwarded Scan Transducer. The new housing is made from schedule 80 steel pipe and is flush with the bottom of the keel so that the sensor has a clear forward view.

We finished the month with installing the Pilothouse Dash Boxes, building the bilge relay boxes and replacing the hoses on the Starboard engine. The new exhaust risers were also installed.
